Think of airbags as heavy-duty, adjustable air helper springs that solve the biggest problem with towing - heavy weights creating sag. When you hook up a caravan, the back of your tow vehicle sags down, lifting the front wheels and making steering dangerous. But if you have rear airbags installed you simply pump them up and the back lifts the car perfectly level again. Caravans need love too, which is why more models now come with air suspension built right in from the factory, replacing rough metal springs with a smooth ride that can even level itself at a campsite. If your current caravan doesn't have it, you aren't left out. Some models have the flexibility to install our retro-fit kit that upgrades your existing suspension to a full air system.

Caravans need a different approach to get that super smooth ride. You can either look for select caravan models that come with full air suspension already (we work with a range of manufacturers to have our products installed at the factory) or talk to us about our Retrofit Kits. These are heavy-duty air spring conversion kits designed specifically for select caravans based on their unique coil placement and accessibility, allowing you to upgrade your current trailer to a premium air system.

A heavy or unevenly loaded caravan can lean, sway, and track poorly behind your tow vehicle. Airbags keep the caravan perfectly balanced and stable on the road for predictable, safer handling. Plus, once you arrive, you can fine-tune the caravan's height right on the spot—keeping your van perfectly level and stable whether you park on a sloped campsite or a rough bush track.

Long highway runs and outback corrugated roads can cause a caravan to bounce and fatigue. Airbags act as high-tech cushions that keep your caravan tracking true, drastically minimizing dangerous sway from crosswinds or passing trucks. By soaking up road vibrations, they keep the caravan steady so you arrive at your destination relaxed, not rattled.

Traditional rough suspension slams heavy road impacts directly into your caravan. Airbags absorb those harsh bumps, putting significantly less stress on your caravan's chassis, tyres, brakes, and internal appliances.
