Brand New Mitsubishi Pajero & Pajero NW 2004 Air Suspension – Airbag Man Kit CR5002

To Airbag Man

Just a quick note about my new air bags that I recently purchased from you, to fit my new NW pajero.

I have an 18ft poptop caravan and when both the car and van were fully loaded even with the Haymen Rees Hitch it tended to sit lower than standard which causes excessive rear tyre wear.

After fitting the Airbag Man air bags which I was able to do without having to dismantle the rear suspension, the vehicle now sits perfectly level when towing and when not I drop the air pressure down to 5psi and the suspension is back to the standard height and ride. So I am very happy and thank you for the prompt service and advice.

PS I had Airbag Man air bags in my previous 2004 Pajero that had done 185000 km when I sold it, which included a trip around Australia and travelling the Gibb River road.

Previous Story:

I purchased and fitted a set of your airbags to my New NW pajero approx twelve months ago and am writing to let you know that I am very happy with them.

I recently completed an 8000km trip from Hervey Bay via Birdsville, Marree, Adelaide, Ballarat and home towing our Jayco Outback caravan and experienced just about every type of road condition from very rough to free ways.

I can report the vehicle and van road level and very stable and the tyre wear on the Pajero was good and even.

I have found with the rear independent suspension on Pajero’s that if the ride height is kept at the same level as it is unloaded then naturally tyre wear is not effected. ( I ran 30psi in the airbags )

The airbags were trouble free and still had the same pressure in them when I got home and re adjusted the pressure back down to 5psi

They really are the easiest and simplest way to keep my car sitting level along with using my weight distribution hitch.

Cheers

John & Pam C.
