How air control can level your ride

It allows you to inflate or deflate your airbags directly from your vehicle as opposed to using an external air compressor. Air control can be customised based on your preferences, but usual components include a 12-volt air compressor, air storage tank, control switches and pressure gauges. Having the flexibility to alter the pressure in your airbags allows you to effortlessly adapt your suspension to the changing terrain, load or towing demands without ever having to step out of the vehicle.

An automatic system provides the ultimate "set and forget" experience by taking the guesswork out of leveling your vehicle. Instead of pushing buttons or using an app, the system uses smart sensors mounted between the chassis and the axle to constantly monitor your ride height. When you throw a heavy load in the back or hitch up a trailer, the sensors instantly detect the drop and automatically turn on the on-board compressor to pump up the airbags until the vehicle is perfectly level. When you unpack, it automatically vents the excess air to lower you back to standard height.

For the ultimate upgrade, Airbag Man offers the IntelliRide system—an intelligent digital brain for your suspension. It is smart enough to ignore temporary bumps on rugged tracks while actively adjusting individual airbag pressure to fight body roll on windy highways. With the touch of a button, you can also select three handy presets to lift your vehicle for off-road tracks, lower it for low-clearance garages, or has horizon levelling that perfectly levels your suspension on uneven ground when you pull into camp.

A wireless system represents the modern evolution of suspension management, giving you precision from your pocket directly to your vehicle. Instead of cluttering the dash with physical switches, all the valving and compressor components are mounted under the vehicle. You control the entire system remotely - either with the dedicated Airbag Man app or wireless key fob. Once you have loaded up or hitched your trailer or caravan simply open the app to inflate or deflate as required. Our app also has advanced features including custom memory presets (like saving one setting for "Unloaded" and another for "Towing"), automated high/low pressure alerts, and a built-in site level display that helps you get the vehicle perfectly level when setting up camp. It also has a 5 metre connection radius so you can get out of the cab and stand right next to your vehicle or caravan and see it level in real time.

A manual system is the traditional, rock-solid entry point to onboard air management, built for reliability and simplicity. This setup permanently mounts physical control switches (like Airbag Man's mechanical E-Paddles or electric rocker switches) and a pressure gauge right inside your vehicle's cabin. This option does need a certain level of understanding of your airbag pressures, as you are manually managing the system. Because it relies on time-tested mechanical switches rather than digital components, it is incredibly robust, highly dependable, and requires zero electronics or apps to operate. A good solution for tourers and tradies who value straight forward, durable mechanical control that just works every single time.

Airbag Man’s onboard air solutions are built on a completely modular ecosystem, meaning you don't have to tear out what you already own to get premium air control. If you have an existing hard-mounted 12V air compressor in your vehicle (in most cases) our componentry is designed to plug directly into it.
